Job Description

Kennedys is looking for a Digital Advisor on a 12-month fixed term contract to join our Business Development team based in London or Manchester. The successful candidate will support and guide the Business Development (BD) department to create a high-quality digital presence that drives the firm's growth ambition, supports its clients and markets, and increases the reach of Kennedys' online brand.

Team

Kennedys Business Development team promotes Kennedys services and supports the firm's global growth ambition and our key clients and markets.

The UK Business Development team consists of four sub-teams: Pursuits, Clients and Markets, Client Development Systems, and Marketing and Communications, which encompasses Digital, Design, Brand, Events and Communications (internal and external).

We also have a Business Development presence in eight global offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure that digital priorities and deliverables are in line with key business strategies, Marketing and Communications objectives and digital industry developments. This will strengthen Kennedys' online presence and deliver an excellent user experience
  • The digital channels include the corporate website and social media, but may extend to other platforms such as blogs, apps, microsites and associate websites as necessary
  • To be responsible for organising and managing operational digital activities, covering website, social media platforms and reporting. This includes ongoing BAU ('business as usual') tasks, project work and marketing campaigns
  • To provide digital advice and expertise (e.g. user experience, content and design) to the wider business for relevant projects, products and services.

Required experience

  • Maintaining a corporate website using a recognised content management system e.g. creating and modifying navigation, page content. Ideally Umbraco and WordPress
  • Maintaining corporate social media accounts e.g. monitoring, planning and posting content. Ideally LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Writing, editing and proofing corporate website and social media content
  • Using reporting tools such as Google Analytics to measure website performance and produce reporting
  • Enthusiasm for digital content marketing and maximising the value of digital channels
  • An interest in evolving digital channels with new ideas, processes, content and technology
  • Attention to detail and responsibility for quality control for final content
  • Organisation and time management to work across multiple projects and internal 'clients'
  • Ability to work independently to plan and manage tasks, campaigns and projects
  • Planning and delivering internal training e.g. social media best practice; CMS
  • Video/audio/image planning and creation experience (desirable)
  • Paid social media marketing campaign management experience (desirable)
  • Paid search engine marketing campaign management experience (desirable)
  • Experience of working on significant website enhancement or upgrade project (desirable)
  • Professional services experience or B2B experience (desirable).
