Job Description
A highly skilled Commercial Litigation Partner or Solicitor is required to join a top tier national private practice from their Newcastle upon Tyne office. Unusually this role can offer such seniority without the need for a following of work.
As well as existing Partners, our client would happily consider highly experienced senior associates that have maybe hit the ceiling in their current role. If this sounds like you, and you are looking to take the next step in your career then you should consider applying for this role..
The Role
The existing Partner is looking to appoint an additional Partner in the team. due to the volume of work and wider opportunities.
This role is to work very closely with the Partner and oversee the current department.
In this role you work on both regional and national work and, at all times, work closely with the team based in Newcastle but also teams in other regional offices throughout the country.
The team currently manages a wide variety of commercial disputes, there are a large number of high-quality shareholder and partner disputes, insolvency disputes against company directors and ownership disputes, property related disputes and complex matters relating to data, privacy and confidentiality to name just a few.
The Person
You must be a highly experienced Commercial Litigation Partner/Solicitor. with a proven track record of handling work of a high quality.
it may well be that you are already a Partner, although it's just as likely that you are looking for an opportunity to step up into partnership.
Our client wants someone ambitious and driven that can further develop and oversee the current team, the Partner currently heading the team has wider responsibilities locally and nationally and therefore would welcome someone who is happy to take wider responsibilities on within the team and would encourage fresh ideas.
