Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Using the information and documents provided by the Regeneration acquisition team, create sales packs for the solicitors acting for Registered Providers containing all relevant information relating to the sale of the affordable housing. 
  • Set up data sites to manage the flow of material to the Registered Provider’s solicitors.
  • Draft documents for the sale of the affordable units using precedents and bespoke documents which have been agreed between the housebuilder clients and the Registered Providers.
  • Working with both the Regeneration acquisition team and the client to answer any enquiries the Registered Provider may have relating to the sale.  The role will involve working directly with the housebuilder clients to agree the transactional documents for the sale and then reporting on the same to the client.
  • Working with the development sales team to set up the sites, ensuring the agreed documents can be utilised by the team when the private sales are launched at the development site.
  • Dealing with exchange and completion (which is often in several phases) of the sale of the affordable housing units along with any post completion matters which may arise when the Registered Providers sell the units to the home buyers. 
  • Working closely with our Infrastructure Agreements specialist regarding any sites where infrastructure may be located within the sales area.

Person Specification

  • Level of experience required in a similar role
  • An ability to win the confidence of clients, members of the Real Estate team and the wider firm.
  • Effective, sound decision making and excellent organisational skills.
  • Reliability, commitment and enthusiasm.
  • Provide client advice in a succinct, practical and persuasive manner in order to drive these matters to exchange and completion.
  • Be confident to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
  • Be organised and capable of running a significant number of files and work matters simultaneously.  The successful candidate will have to handle multiple matters at any one time.
  • Be confident in both verbal and written communication with clients and internally.
