CMS has the largest UK-based team dedicated to this industry, providing local expertise with a global perspective to clients around the world on all aspects of the industry; upstream, downstream, CCUS and wider energy transition, LNG, platforms, pipelines, FPSOs, shipping and transportation, gas storage, supply chain management, decommissioning, M&A and financing included.
As a member of this market leading team you will work on a broad range of complex, high value, and high profile M&A transactional, projects and supply chain work for top tier clients across the UKCS and internationally working closely with many household names in the energy sector.
We are looking for candidates with a next generation mind-set. We take a different approach for a changing future which means we are open to candidates with strong backgrounds in corporate or commercial contracts, as well as those with Oil & Gas experience. We invest in our Associates and provide a supportive, friendly environment in which to grow.
* be legally qualified in the UK, Scotland or other common law jurisdiction, such as Australia or New Zealand
* ideally have experience of transactional, projects and/or supply chain work in the oil and gas sector in the UKCS and/or internationally, or a demonstratable interest in the industry
* have strong commercial acumen and enthusiasm for business development
* be committed to making a name for themselves within the industry
