Edge by Ascential looking for a Senior Revenue Analyst to join our team in London as part of our Finance function.

We have newly created a Senior Revenue Analyst role to support the rapidly growing EDGE finance team. The successful candidate will be principally responsible for all revenue accounting for the Edge business, including month end requirements, and analysis.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of monthly revenue deliverables, including bi-monthly forecasting, monthly revenue journals
    • Revenue Recognition and reconciliation as per IFRS 15
    • Secured Revenue analysis
    • Credit Note Analysis & Bad debt analysis
  • Building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Edge, including Sales, Billings, Credit Control, and Financial Control team
  • Prepare and review P&L variance analysis at month end and forecast cycles as well as board pack preparation
  • Support Head of Finance in preparation and review of Budget, ensuing accuracy and financial rigour
  • Support implementation of new ERP for the company
  • Ad-hoc project work required to support objectives of Commercial finance team
  • Reviewing process and identifying opportunities to deliver efficiency and understanding through enhanced analysis/reporting

 

Your Experience

  • Qualified accountant, with 1-2 years PQE, with knowledge of IFRS 15
  • Advanced demonstrable Microsoft Excel skills; extremely comfortable building Excel models/reports. K
  • Experience with FinancialForce and Salesforce, SAP accounting suite including Hyperion Financial Management desirable
  • Experience in working with other Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • High degree of numeracy with excellent attention to detail, and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and able to distil complex issues down to key messages
