Job Description

If you have, you may have noticed that software in the property industry is ready for an overhaul. It lacks transparency and makes what should be a really exciting time in our lives more stressful than it should be. The good news? We're going to change that.

We're building a greenfield SaaS product that will put the joy back into moving, and we’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. 

As a key member of our data team, you'll have an impact on: 

  • Owning & influencing decisions around infrastructure & architecture
  • Keep an eye on the latest tools & technologies and help us implement them where relevant
  • Capturing requirements 
  • Organising as much data as we can get our hands on detailing the UK Property space
  • Leveraging customer events to improve insights and customer experience
  • Building Data Pipelines to power Predictive Models
  • Providing APIs to the product teams
  • Acquiring and Quality Assuring new data streams and providers
  • Enabling product teams to include Data-Driven Insights within their products
  • Evolve our system architecture to tackle the growing size of our data and improve our turnaround time

Who we're looking for

  • You have strong commercial experience with Python and either AWS or GCP 
  • You’re familiar with Elasticsearch & Docker
  • You have some experience of working within a role that involved Data Pipelines/Processing/ETL
  • You’re a team player who’s happy to work with people from all areas of the business (Development, sales, marketing etc) 
  • You enjoy learning and enjoy a challenge

£45k-£60k dependent on experience. However, sometimes the perfect person is far more or less experienced than we anticipated. In these situations planned ranges go out the window. If you think that might be the case, please apply and just let us know.
