Ascential's Retail week We're looking for a Head of Access Sales to join our team in London, UK as part of our Sales function.

Retail Week & World Retail Congress has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly ambitious sales leader to oversee the growth of our premium subscription products and delegate access to market leading global retail events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring maximum delivery against targets across Retail Week’s premium subscription services and delegate sales through effective team management, growth of key accounts and average order value, and generation of new business
  • Focusing on sales performance through the development and implementation of the operational sales plan, to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Coaching, developing and motivating the team of subscription and delegate business development managers
  • Paying meticulous attention to the subscriptions renewal cycle to ensure high value and volume retention rates
  • Working closely with RW and WRC Content teams, Marketing and Relationship Managers to fully understand premium products sets and key clients, and to identify new prospects while generating sustainable growth
  • Producing regular performance and market reports for the Managing Director

 

Your Experience

  • Proven sales leadership track record
  • Excellent sales team management skills
  • Confident sales planning and forecasting skills, including strategic account plans and terrain mapping
  • Strong Business Acumen and problem solving/analysis skills required
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Must be results driven with strong customer focus
  • Interest and/or experience in retail or retail services
