Job Description

We are partnering with a fantastic and long-established City law firm who is looking for a highly experienced BD and marketing professional to join its team.  The firm focuses on four core areas of business across real estate, private client, commercial and litigation.  It has a very established client base and has grown significantly over the last few years. There is a small team in place and this role will oversee the strategic approach to business development, really professionalising what they do.
This is a newly created role which will sit on the Board and work with the senior leadership, and it is a really exciting opportunity to reset BD and marketing. You will undertake a strategic review, create innovative go to market strategies and continue developing their approach to clients and targets.  On the marketing and comms side, you will work with the business to really raise the profile of the firm within its relevant markets and demonstrate their expertise via targeted campaigns and thought leadership.
You will have a demonstrable track record across business development and marketing from within the legal and /or professional services sector. Experience of leading and developing a team is essential, as is working collaboratively across the partnership and building strong relationships.
