Join our Group Finance function at Addleshaw Goddard and be at the forefront of transforming our business processes.
We're on the lookout for a Senior Support professional to strengthen our Firm Disbursements team. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a significant impact on our disbursement processing and payments, working closely with the Team Leader to ensure a seamless transition and enhance our financial operations.
What You'll Do:
• Handle day-to-day processing and payment of Firm disbursement invoices, using Chrome River and 3E, and escalate issues as needed.
• Manage the upload process for bulk invoices, ensuring accurate reconciliation and addressing unreferenced entries.
• Recharge disbursements to matters accurately and timely, and perform related balance sheet reconciliations.
• Request and reconcile supplier statements, addressing and escalating issues appropriately.
• Conduct reviews of aged vendors to close balances and deactivate accounts where necessary.
• Resolve pending disbursement invoice issues in collaboration with the business.
• Set up new vendors on the Chrome River system and provide support and training to junior team members.
• Manage credit card and petty cash statements/balances and ensure accurate postings and reconciliations.
Who We're Looking For:
• Someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in Firm Disbursements or Accounts Payable, with a keen interest in process improvement.
• Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rule is desirable.
• A confident stakeholder manager, able to engage and influence at all levels.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing competing deadlines under pressure.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suites, with a basic understanding of VAT rules and regulations.

- The continued growth and development of our award-winning female development programme, Flourish which has supported over 350 participants through this programme, some of the participants are now senior leaders across our firm.
- Equity Partner Sponsorship Programme, to help identify and support non-equity partners on their path to equity partnership. We've been running this programme for several years now and because of this programme we have increased our UK female representation at UK equity partner level from 20% (2020) to 27% (2023).
