The primary objective for a Legal PA joining the team is to provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to lawyers, enabling them to focus on delivering high-quality legal services to clients. This includes managing schedules, coordinating communications, preparing legal documents, and ensuring the efficient operation of day-to-day activities within the team. The Legal PA plays a crucial role in enhancing productivity, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the legal team.
What You'll Do:
• Collaborate with Finance teams to support fee earners' financial performance, including client billing, reporting, and management of matter balances and working capital.
• Work with Business Development to assist fee earners in organising and attending events, CRM administration, updating CVs, and supporting bids, tenders, and pilots.
• Support Client Relationship Partners (CRPs) with organising core team meetings, events, and compiling client reports for Client Universe Clients.
• Manage matter processes, including applying correct rates, preparing engagement letters, and liaising with the Business Acceptance Unit.
• Undertake conflict checks and Client Due Diligence, accurately completing the Client Matter Inception (CMI) process in line with firm protocols.

• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Finance and Business Development teams, supporting fee earners with financial performance, events, CRM administration, and client relationship activities.
• Proficiency in matter and file management processes, including Client Matter Inception (CMI), engagement letters, conflict checks, and adherence to compliance protocols.
• Exceptional organisational abilities for diary management, travel arrangements, meeting preparation, and efficient use of administrative tools like the Cube.
• Technical competency to support fee earners, delegate tasks appropriately, and address knowledge gaps to fulfil all role requirements.
