Ascential are looking for a Global Director of Record to Report to join our team in London, UK as part of our Finance function.
Reporting to the VP, Finance Shared Services, the Global Director of Record to Report (R2R) is responsible for leading and developing the R2R function to deliver best in class processes, controls and reporting. The role will be operationally accountable for the day-to-day accounting operations of the Finance Shared Services, running month end activities to timelines, maintaining quality service levels and delivering transparent and compliant financial information prior to submission to BU and Group Controllership teams.
Ascential’s global finance team is currently undergoing a finance transformation program which provides a fantastic opportunity for a high calibre Global Director of R2R to initially lead the overall deployment for the R2R workstream, by transforming the existing finance model to the new finance operating model, as per the roadmap. This deployment will involve the establishment and onboarding of an outsourcing partner.
This is a senior management position contributing to the success of the organization through; management and development of a high performing and customer focused team, the implementation of robust change management, enhancement of processes, and the agile integration of newly acquired businesses. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence and be experienced in leading large operational teams (an outsourced and captive mix) as well as in building cross-functional relationships.
